With a DJ career spanning a little over 15 years and a string of summers DJ'ing in Ibiza's top nightclubs, his experience behind the decks is benchmark material! CREAM, MANUMISSION, ES PARADIS, BAR M and BORA BORA are just a handful of the top-notch bars & clubs that Stevie has been invited to play at.
Stevie certainly knows how to work any crowd with warm-up DJ'ing duties for JORIS VOORN, JUDGE JULES, FAT BOY SLIM, ARMIN VAN BUUREN, OLIVER LANG... and so on. Not only a professional DJ but also a Professional Stage dancer and a 5-year Ibiza club rep. He's mingled with all the stars, spun with them and partied till the sun comes up weekend after weekend after weekend. This isn't just a guy with a solid clubbing education but also a passion for electronic music!
Backup comes from Oulu based 'progressive house' master 'DJ GATEWAY' alongside LCS residents PROGRESSION and 'ALI KING'.

[size=12]"Northern Irish native, Scotland based DJ Stevie Jones has carved his name into both the UK and Balearic clubbing scenes. With almost 15 years experience under his belt, Stevie has made a fast journey from bedroom DJ to household name. Like many others, Stevie's passion for electronic music began in the early 90's when the Northern Irish underground rave scene was flourishing.
With a string of summer trips to Ibiza in the late 90s, Stevie worked as a Professional Stage dancer and as a PR for some of the islands most respected clubs. With DJ talents from around the globe spinning the most upfront anthems from dusk till dawn, Stevie soaked up the broad variety of electronic music on offer. This annual summer immersion on the white isle enabled him to develop and tailor his own DJing style into something rather unique.
Stevies work as a PR helped him to gain regular DJ spots on various smaller beach bar terraces. With his musical abilities on show, It was only a matter of time before he was spotted and asked to showcase his talents on the bigger Ibiza stages. Stevie DJed alongside world class DJs in some of the most renowned clubs and bars in Ibiza including Bora Bora, Bar M, Eden, Es Paradis, Plastic, Coastline and Orange corner.
Stevie was part of the select few to host Manumissions 10th Birthday afterparty held at Kanya and hailed the decks regularly to do pre-party warm-up slots for Kinky Malinky, Hed Kandi and Cream! With his CV already looking impressive, its no wonder he has played alongside / warmed up for Joris Voorn, Judge Jules, Fat Boy Slim, Armin Van Buuren, Oliver Lang, Micky Slim, Billy Nasty, Steve Boyd, Jamie Gittens and a great deal more.
The summer Ibiza residencies allowed him to discover the sound which he carried back to the clubs of Belfast allowing him to gain popularity and prove his worth again and again. Stevies unrelenting passion for the music he plays and lust for crowd reaction pushes his music to new levels with his charisma on the decks doubling the appeal of his music on the dance floor.
Back on native soil, Stevie has played at Thompson's Garage, Funkasaurus, Mynt, the Garrick, Frontpage and Bar Red where he has made his impression on the Belfast music scene and gained the respect needed to run his own events. Having previously promoted Livin @ the Garrick for 2 years in 2004, Stevie hooked up with DJ/Producer Aaron Shim where they formed the duo Derty Fusion. Together they have promoted and performed across the UK, wrecking every dance floor with their distinctive techno sound.
In 2008 Stevie decided to set his roots in Glasgow; A city where the underground scene boomed with fresh new music and DJ talent. With his substantial list of achievements from Ibiza and Belfast his arrival to Scotland was greeted with a showering of DJ bookings. Stevies involvement in the Scottish electronic music scene has already seen him running popular after hour parties at various underground locations in Glasgow.
Stevies inner charm behind the decks is fuelled by his charisma and gifted dancing abilities. From the very day he won his first dance competition at 17, Stevies rhythm and passion with music was one of the very reasons how he initially ended up professionally dancing in Ibizas super clubs. One certainly shouldn't be surprised if you find Stevie bustin a few moves beside you as he's not one to be shy on the dance floor! Looking forward to having you here in the Southern half of Finland. My "Liquid Crystal Sounds" trip to Oulu in early 2009 was really great fun and also showed me how good you are as a DJ. Your versatility and ability to mix up differing genres provided an awsome set that night.
With the addition of Ibiza and Hed Kandi legend "STEVIE JONES", I believe we are all in for a night of seamlessly superb audio entertainment...

Tämähän meni ihan hienosti. Stevie laittoi kyllä meikäläisen makuhermoon just oikeeta musaa, toimi selvästi juhlakansallekin tanssilattialla. Olihan se äijä kyllä melkoinen gurukin sen mikserin kanssa, heti eka vaihdosta huomas kaikesta että täys ammattiäijä asialla. Respektit sumusaarien suuntaan! Itellä tuli taas soiteltua hittejä, ja mukavaa oli noin muutenkin, ehkä vielä joskus uusiksikin :)

JEAH! yks parhaista LCS bileistä ikinä! en tiedä mikä vittu siinä on et ihmiset ei jaksa tulla mestoille. Porukkaa oli ihan ok mut kyllä tsätä kylästä löytyy enemmänkin jengiä kun olis menosta digannu. Ihan vitun hyvä bookkaus LCS porukalta taas. Karismaattista meininkiä dekkien takana ja niin hyvää musaa että meni seuraava päivä klasskikoita lataillessa. Siis kaveri kyllä osas hienosti valita biisejä joissa oli noin 110% ibiza tunnelmaa ja tuntu toimivan sateisessa Turussakin. ;)

LCS 'Solarism' was definitely one of those nights that offered so many positive surprises. With a little over thirty LCS events under our belt, this one in particular fired straight into the top two or three. The tune selections were absolutely flawless from the very first track at 22.00 to the 'encore' at 03.40. Tune after tune...
GATEWAY displayed his northern turntable talents and STEVIE JONES showing just why he was an Ibiza 'HED KANDI' resident. The audience was glittered with awe inspiring anthems.
Stevie's set featured a balearic injection of real underground tracks as well as some recent belters. A sensational set which saw him leave the decks almost three times to breakdance amongst clubbers on the dancefloor. This was an out of the ordinary DJ with character, ability, charm and confidence all mixed together! Quite a nutcase package ;)
STEVIE JONES, GATEWAY, PROGRESSION & ALI KING: You absolutely rocked the house!
With yet another successful LCS in the bag, there's little more to say than a huge thank you to all who have helped and supported our events along this 3.5yr journey in Finland. As a team we have seen a different yet positive perspective of Finnish clubbing and shall certainly aim to provide more and more.
With the summer in full swing, LCS takes its holiday with a moment of calm to switch off and chill.
