MARCO SHUTTLE
started as a promoter and DJ in his home town Treviso in Italy at the age of 15. He worked as a fashion designer in Italy too. In 2002 he moved to London to do the MA course in the world famous Saint Martins college graduating in 2004. He also became more and more active in the East London underground clubbing scene and is a resident DJ in the legendary SUD parties. Marco has played alongside artists such as Portable, Lawrence, Sten, Carsten Yost, Mike Shannon, Alex Under, Lump, Oliver Hacke, Daniel Bell, Bruno Pronsato, Agnes, Lee Curtis, Cassy, Margareth Dygas and Move D. Due to Marco's more visual background as a designer his musical style is constructed with an aesthetic approach. He has been deeply inspired by detroit techno and electro, acid house, new york deep house and garage and electronica. His production is usually very deep and dark and tends to have often strong percussive elements mixed together with dry electronic sounds on groovy basslines. His ep Dontlaughatme came out on Serialism Records (http://www.serialismrecords.com) in September 2008. He has various appearences on Multivitamins and Sudelectronic and has a release coming out in January 13th on the London based label brut! records (http://www.myspace.com/brutrecords)

TRIP - So Good it Hurts! is a monthly club at Playground in Helsinki. Trip is experimental and playful club and musically it focuses on new underground techno and house. Musically the nights can vary depending on guests DJs from minimal to maximal and from mellow to hard. In addition Trip has always some sort of dressing-up theme and spontaneous performances. This time 15.1. The theme is The Revenge of the Christmas Tree, in other words, put on anything and everything glittery and shiny and go go go!
