TRANCE.NU -- Plans to make the Oslo Summerparade accessible for more people have been stopped by police! Read more now.

Written by: Lars Jacobsen, aka Elusive
The annual Oslo Summerparade have become increasingly popular over the past years, breaking new records each year when it comes to attendance. Last year saw 35.000 people having fun in the streets of Oslo in the event that is getting a bigger name in the rest of the world by the minute.

Sadly, the Summperparade foundation served us a pressrelease today with all but good news: in a meeting with traffic police Thursday, law officials declined the request to use a bigger route at this years parade, due to the fear of traffic chaos in downtown Oslo. Mr. Sturla Johansen in the Parade management comments: ”its a paradox for us that the sisterparade, ”gayparade”, got the support, while we didnt. The parade will stop all traffic for a few hours anyway this day, so we cant really see the problem -it would have been a small sacrifice. We are very disapointed”.

Keep your eyes peeled on TNU for news about the summerparade, set to take place Staurday July 26th.
