Body Machine Body is the first dark music festival in Estonia with a successful debut in 2009. This year the festival will take place in October. Keep an eye on this page for updates on the performers. See you there!

When the resurrection of EBM happens to be the topic, Spetsnaz is, or ought to be, the first name you?ll think of. That bundle of honest and real EBM joy they pushed to motion also set the electronic body music legend Nitzer Ebb back on track to reuniting. Spetsnaz is no one hit wonder or fashion statement; their music, like dark bread, is always to be respected. Their minimalism and gripping bass synths are simply igniting and the forthright message will make one think and really catch fire.
We are very happy to see them back in Estonia after these years and on this occasion as a headliner at the Body Machine Body festival.

After a plentiful quantity of booze, two buddies, Ron2-D2 ja Rundberg, who had already been in various bands, decided to form one of their own. This Old school EBM duo has Hardcore and Punk in their blood and their DIY attitude produced many singles and a debut album “Scandinavian Masters”. The German Dark Electro giant Out Of Line wanted in on the action and Container’s second album “World ChampionShit” saw light of day under their label. Container 90 manages to keep their independence and spread their anarchistic message on the stages of all the biggest festivals in the scene. With backbone and healthy humor, this is Electronic Body Music at its best!

ErilaZ, playing guitar in Finland’s one of the most important Industrial band Kuroshio Current, decided on a solo project that formed in to a full band after KC fell apart. Combining Dark Electro beats and effects with a gloomy atmosphere, some folk and metal, there is no Pop in their Electro.

Fear and confusion, rage and damnation are only a few of the powerful words that make up Symmetry Of Asymmetry’s pillars of musical expression. Like their friends and compatriots from Rosewater proved yet again at last years BMB, Latvia has an exceptionally healthy dark-electro/industrial artist community. Symmetry Of Asymmetry represents its more danceable and melodic side, not lacking of the inbuilt noise and lunacy of our southern neighbours. This honest and unpolished music, that is not afraid to show a mirror to society, is a treat to fans of Hocico, X-Fusion and :Wumpscut.

Tallinn Daggers is a youthful yet thriving electro-pop duo, consisting of two long-time musicians Ardo (ex-Pedigree, ex-Shelton San) and Joosep (Under Marié, ex-Pia Fraus). Their music combines 80s synthpop and new wave with contemporary electro clash and pop music. Surely the most carefree group at this years BMB to balance out the essentially grave festival.
