[ABCD04] Lake Lustre: Indecipherabilia

Indecipherabilia is the eight-track debut album from British-born Maltese Australian producer Lake Lustre, who now lives in Switzerland. With help from Australian vocalists Peta Morris on 'Cul De Sac' and Denise Chemise on 'My Disco Twin', Lake Lustre explores territory bordered by funk, downtempo, classical music, lounge beat and experimental electronica.

The video for this release comes from Canadian artists Andre Pelletier and Ryan Crouchman, who together form the collaborative Karbon. Their black-and-white streetscapes filmed in Montreal and New York City make
for a smooth visualization of Lake Lustre's 'Cul De Sac.'

The CD is now available through the Abflug website and soon through several distributors and record stores throughout Europe, Canada, and Australia. Please visit http://www.abflugrec.com for more information and samples.

In Case You Don't Know What Abflug Is

Abflug is a Helsinki, Finland-based label dedicated to electronic music and video arts. The aural criteria for Abflug releases ranges from soundscapes to ambient to crunchbeat to deep techno.

Each Abflug release will include both an audio and a visual element. The two components, music and video, are complimentary but separate, and not necessarily by the same artist. The format for the first Abflug releases will be CD-Extra, which means that there will be two sessions on the CD: normal audio tracks in the first session (for CD player), and QuickTime video clips (for computer) in the second session.

"throughout it maintains a timeless quality, not bending to current trends, and indeed being more akin to art than most modern music"
