Mun remixiä ei ole vielä promottu Vanditin kautta joten MORPH pyysi olemaan vielä soittamatta missään radiomiksauksessa. Toivottavasti voin sisällyttää biisin Heinäkuun podcastiin. Aaaaanyways... kohta mennään! :)

Big names bring the big tracks! This month was particularly hard to put Radio Unity together because there seemed to be a flood of really good music from across many genres. There's been quite a few new up'n'coming names featured in Radio Unity this year but this month is like who's who of my alltime fave artists. Olipas muuten huikea toi uus WOW-biisi tulevalta albumilta. On odotukset kyl aika uskomattoman korkealla sen suhteen, etenkin ku toi Future Perfect oli kans niin tajuttoman hyvä.

Starting this Saturday (17.10.2009) my Radio Unity show will begin broadcasting on the national NRJ radio channel here in Finland. It comes out on the third Saturday of the month in the NRJ At The Club show. So basically the weekend after my Afterhours.fm show. This week is different though as accidentally third Wednesday and Saturday dont fit to same week.. So this time the radio show will have the mix first. The podcast will usually come out on the Sunday after the NRJ show is broadcasted. This time right after the Afterhours.fm show next week.
In the same slot 22-23 (my show is 23-24) is Heikki Ls (of Danceteria/Dallas Superstars fame) Selected Trax show focusing on a more housey sound. NRJ at the Club has a great variety of shows rotating and its nice to see a major finnish radio channel fully supporting electronic dance music in the weekend evenings - which is naturally THE best time for enjoying it:) This has been in the talks for a looong time so its really nice to see Radio Unity returning to the FM radio waves. Big thanks to Dosse and other nice people at NRJ for the opportunity and good spirit!
Lokakuun Radio Unity livenä NRJ:llä tänään klo 23-00. Tulossa mm Way Out West, Faithless, Union Jack, Super8 & Tab, Orkidea etc... Miksaus ensi keskiviikkona Afterhours.fm:llä ja podcast ladattavissa torstaina.

"Radio Unity is back.
After a year of radio silence my monthly radio show is back in da buziness! Even if it's a business with no money involved;) I did a monthly show for Finnish National Radio for almost ten years but when stopped doing it in late 2007 I was looking for a more international and web focused alternative as I see the future of radio (for alternative music at least) heavily in the web.
Couple months ago discussions with Afterhours.fm resulted in getting a monthly one hour slot on this trance radio. Ah.fm has simultanous listener figures of around 1000 people - making it one of the most popular EDM channels out there (alongside di.fm, etn.fm & protonradio.com) with the likes of Markus Schulz, Blank & Jones, Kyau & Albert, Marcus Schossow and Lange holding residencies.

My show will air every third Wednesday of the month at 21:00-22:00 CET (+1 GMT) meaning 22:00-23:00 Finnish time. The show will focus mainly in melodic progressive house and progressive trance with occasional psy-trance, breakz, techno or chill-out cuts featured as well. AH.FM is a true diehard trance channel, but personally I put music in two genres: Good and Bad and try to play the Good stuff in my sets;) Also nowadays I tend to find lots of music with a strong trance-like feel and vibe (melodic, hypnotic, driving, atmospheric) which is labeled something totally different.
The show will be "music only" for the time being but let's see if it will become a "properly presented program" in some point.. Episodes will also be available the next week after the airing as podcast from my website. Podcast info and tracklist coming up always to:
